How to make the Squarespace customer service BOT extend your free trial.

Insta post 9.jpg

Need a little extra time in your free trial??? All new Squarespace sites come with a 14 day trial period, so you can test out the platform (and start building your website) before you actually start paying the yearly subscription fee.

But what if you need just a liiiitttle longer to play around? I have the 8 EASY steps for getting the Squarespace customer service bot to extend your trial in about 1 minute flat.

* do these steps on the last day of your current trial.

Step 1:

Login to your SS account.

Step 2:

In your Dashboard, Click on ‘Help’ in the top right of the page

Step 3:

This will open a page, and in the bottom right is a black circle with a white question mark- click this.

Step 4:

A bot will welcome you and ask for which topic you need help-

Select ‘Billing, signing up, and payment’

Step 5:

The bot will ask a question to specify the topic-

Type in: 'What happens when my trial ends' then select that option when it pops up

Step 6:

Then an answer and options -

Choose 'Extend the trial'

Step 7:

It will ask for the Site ID: enter it

(this is the first part of your inbuilt domain, they show an example, you may need to open your website up in a new tab to copy it from)

Step 8:

It will redirect you with a confirmation the your trial is extended.

You now have 7 days added to your trial!

I hope this helps you get across the finish line!
